Wearing Diapers Discretely
Sorry, I know my postings have been inconsistent at best and I will have to work on that. So people that I care about starting noticing that I wear diapers because they noticed a crinkle when I walk. This upset both me and my Master and we have fought. It's good that we are talking about things and figuring each other out. But it also takes a toll on both of us.
As a result I started, learning how to hide diapers better and I decided to share my tricks with you all in one place because I did a lot of research on the best and cheapest way to hide diapers.
As a result I started, learning how to hide diapers better and I decided to share my tricks with you all in one place because I did a lot of research on the best and cheapest way to hide diapers.
- Choose quiet diapers. I love my Abena M4 diapers, they are the best diapers on the market but they are loud. In public it is fine because there is background noise but in private, they make noise. I started wearing Medline extended wear diapers this week and these are the best cloth backed diapers I have tried. They are quiet and discrete. I would also recommend these to anyone starting diapers since they are very soft and I can't feel them when I wear them.
- Wear underwear over your diapers. I had to buy underwear since I didn't have any since my short relapse in my training. I choose a 6 pack of Fruit of the Loom cotton briefs. I got the size I normally wear but they are a little tight so I would definitely size up next time. But these cover diapers well and help muffle the sound a little bit. Some people recommend buying real cloth diaper covers from Northshore or another company and I am sure they work better than normal underwear but I haven't tried those yet since my diaper budget is still a little tight.
- Wear something under your shirt to tuck into your pants. I wear high-rise jeggings most of the time since they are comfortable and hide diapers well, but my diapers still peak out when my shirt rides up or I bend down. So I wear tunic length camisole shirts to tuck into my pants and they work well. I have also considered getting plain onsies but that is another thing that is on my wish list but I haven't been able to try yet.
- Get a diaper garbage can. I have an Ubbi brand garbage can and the only problem I have with it is my diapers don't fit through the hole when I don't tie them up just right. I got an Ubbi because it has good reviews on containing the smell and it has a bigger hole than most baby diaper garbage cans. You can get adult diaper garbages but those are generally more expensive.
- Find a quiet spot to change your diapers. I usually change in my room since I live with other people. But you need to find your own spot where you can keep your diapers, baby powder, and rash cream where other people won't find it.
- On the same note, I also have a shelf where I store all of my different diapers. It's not a necessity but if you want to wear 24/7 you will definitely want it. I have pull-ups, Walgreens brand diapers, Medline Extended Care, Abena M4, and purple diapers. And the shelf lets me keep all of them stocked where I can see them and pick the best one for my situation.
- Get a cute, purse looking diaper bag. I have a JuJu Be plain grey one. No one would suspect that it is a diaper bag and it holds a lot. I keep everything I normally keep in a purse in there as well as powder, rash cream, several diapers, and plastic grocery bags for changing in public restrooms in there too. And if anyone recognizes it as a diaper bag, you can just say you like the organization, because that is great as well. I honestly can't help guys much with this problem because I don't know much about what guys would be ok with carrying around.
So there you have it, 7 tips on keeping diapers discrete. If you have any questions I would be more than happy to answer them, there are probably things in here that I haven't thought of yet.
